Study Image Resolution Before You Download

Reputable stock sites usually make a variety of sizes available for any given image. Knowing how you will be using the image ahead of time will help you pick the appropriate file size. Reputable stock sites have this type of information available for viewing. In general, when using free images, pick ones that have at least a 300 dpi (dots per inch) or higher.
